Spaniel is a winner
I was delighted to hand over this portrait on Friday (18/07/15) to Mel and Sue Lander from Shropshire.
Mel and Sue were the winners of my Countryman's Weekly competition back in March, and chose to have their Cocker Spaniel, Capstan, painted.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet them and Capstan and to paint his portrait. He is a very active, handsome dog – who quickly made firm friends with our own Cocker, Quince.
